in our new garden, I came across this fellow:

Later while my son was moving some rockery stone, he found this:

Bob

Totally amazing photographs. The first chap is lovely and I hope he didn't mind being removed from his home. I am sure his new one will be even better.

The second photograph is beautiful. The colours are truly amazing.

Have discovered that the moth is an Eyed Hawk Moth which only shows the eyes on its rear wings when disturbed.

Absolutely amazing Bob. Great that you have found out the species also. With one thing and another I have not been out anywhere with my camera but hope to rectify that in the coming months.

Teddy :)
