Now that you are three months into your membership of the Anaphylaxis Campaign, we want to make sure you and your family benefit from all we have to offer.
Have you....
Been receiving our email newsletter? They are full of current news items related to allergies, updates on the work of the Campaign and a listing of our upcoming events. These newsletter contain images which can make the file size too large for some spam filters. Make sure your spam filter isn't blocking our messages by adding the address 'anaphylaxis@email-anaphylaxis.org.uk' to your accepted list. (this is an unmonitored address, so please do not use to contact us)
Taken advantage of FREE allergy training?
NEW!! Members of the Campaign are now able to access our AllergyWise training course for no additional charge.  Simply log in to the membership area and follow the links to the appropriate course for you.
Taken a look at our online review system, Tried and Trusted? You can review restaurant, airlines, hotels, etc in relation to their understanding of allergies. Think of it as an allergy-friendly TripAdvisor and a way for you to get help and offer help to others with severe allergies.
Been receiving our product alerts? If you have a common allergy such as nuts, eggs or milk and have never received a product alert either to your mobile phone or via email, give us a ring on 01252 546100 so we can check your details. If you have less common allergens, we may not have sent an alert recently, so if you think you've provided your details to us, you probably have and there is no reason to call.
Attended a workshop or support group? Take a look at the Support Group map to see the locations of our groups. If there are no support groups near you, we'd love to help you set one up. Email Debbie if you'd like to learn more.
Made use of our helpline? Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm, we are here to answer your questions, address your concerns and help you prepare for or make sense of doctor appointments.  If we don't know the answers, we have access to the best allergy specialists in the country and we'll raise your queries to them. Keep our contact details handy - we can be reached on 01252 542029 or by email to info@anaphylaxis.org.uk
In addition to the great benefits listed above, we hope that you also feel proud knowing that your membership helps us improve the lives of the severely allergic population as a whole.  We offer the same type of support that you receive to the food and catering industries and we are raising allergy awareness in both large and small companies. We work to protect you, your family and others with severe allergies by suggesting improvements in food labelling and advising on safe manufacturing with regard to allergy management.  We also support school nurses making the school environment safer for allergic children, and train allergy nurses and GPs to ensure they have the best knowledge of anaphylaxis.
We cannot do this work without your contributions. Thank you.
Make sure you take advantage of the membership benefits listed and let us support you.
Kind Regards
Carey Ledford
