Orange Wig Day
17.03.16 at 18:21:59
Orange Wig Day is the Anaphylaxis Campaign's largest fundraising event. It's one day in the year where we ask our members and supporters to wear orange wigs to raise money for the Campaign and awareness of severe allergies. The wigs are an attention-grabbing and engaging tool and make it fun for everyone to take part.  Read our FAQs to learn more.
Here are 10 ways you can get involved in Orange Wig Day on 20 May 2016:
Wear your wig to work. Get colleagues involved and see who can wear theirs the whole day.
Ask your child's school to get involved - they can host a 'Wear Orange' day!
Wear your wig on the school run.
Sweat it out!  Wear your wig to the gym.
Organise an Orange Party. Wear your wig and serve orange food and drinks.
Request suggestions from your friends - let them "dare" you to wear your wig somewhere. If you do, they have to make a donation
Take your wig on a sightseeing tour and snap photos of yourself wearing your wig at famous landmarks.
Take part in a local fun run wearing your wig.
Ask your child's Scout or Girl Guides group to get involved - it's a great opportunity to teach others about severe allergies.
Get a group of wig-wearers out on the town for dinner or drinks. You'll get loads of attention and probably a few donations too!
Our signature orange wigs are provided free-of-charge to fundraisers and are available for 4.00 each for those focusing on raising awareness.
