I have run this group for a number of years but, as I am now 87 and not in the best of health, and my wife has just had a stroke, I feel that I am no longer able to do so.   I have been in touch with Anaphylaxis UK to see if someone else could take it over but I have heard from the Head of Finance and Operations today and they apparently feel that the best option is to close the group down.
 
I feel that this is a great shame as there is a wealth of information on latex allergy here and the site gets a huge number of visitors every week.
 
I shall continue to run the site until the end of October after which I shall take no further part in it.
 
It has been a great pleasure to get to know some of the members in the past and I thank you all for the assistance that you have given me.
